Stray Demolition Ball
The Ford Taurus wasn't the intended victim, but an errant wrecking ball showed it wasn't choosy about its targets when a demolition job on an old school building also left the car a wreck. The 680 kilogram solid sphere caused havoc on a street in Pennsylvania on Monday after it broke loose from a crane on the campus of Allegheny College and rolled down the main street. Numerous vehicles were damaged before the ball came to rest by slamming into the back of a Ford Taurus. Paramedics took three people, including the driver of the car to a nearby medical centre for treatment.
